1. Suara Al-Istiqamah Newsletter JOURNALISM Workshop

Workshop description: A concise course on the essentials of writing reports for a newsletter, specifically 'Suara Al-Istiqamah'

Duration: 2 weeks - 27 February and 6 March (Saturdays)
Time: 10 am -12 noon
Open to: Staff & members of public
Members: Free for MIQ staff, The W.R.I.T.E. Club members & Youth Wing Exco
Non-Members: $5

Outline: Participants will be guided on essentials of report-writing and will be tasked to write articles for publication in Suara Al-Istiqamah, the mosque newsletter

2. Suara Al-Istiqamah Newsletter DESIGN Workshop:

Workshop description: A concise course on the essentials of designing newsletter pages using Microsoft Publisher, specifically 'Suara Al-Istiqamah'.

Duration: 2 weeks - 13 and 20 March (Saturdays)
Time: 10 am - 12 noon
Open to: Staff & members of public
Members: Free for MIQ staff, The W.R.I.T.E. Club members & Youth Wing Exco
Non-Members: $5

Outline: Participants will be guided on essentials of designing pages of Suara Al-Istiqamah, the mosque newsletter, and tasked to create actual pages for the next newsletter.
